The dream gymnasium for students in grades 8-11 was founded almost a quarter of a century ago by the famous St. Petersburg Humanitarian University of Trade Unions.

- The task of the gymnasium is to enable promising children of busy parents to open up and prepare for entering the university, - explains the rector of St. Petersburg State Unitary Enterprise, Academician Alexander Zapesotsky. - It was created to help mothers and fathers who cannot devote enough time to their child due to workload or the specifics of work and are ready to entrust education to reliable teachers.

The main contingent of high school students are guys from good families, where they value the quality of education and a broad outlook. The concept was developed and implemented by Honored Scientist of Russia Alexander Zapesotsky and Honored Teacher of Russia, Director of the institution Marina Khmyrova. During the approbation period, which lasted more than 15 years, the gymnasium was the base site of the Russian Academy of Education.

No more than 15 people are recruited in classes - this ensures an individual approach to each child. High-class teachers help to close gaps, gain interest in learning, prepare well for the Unified State Examination and the OGE. Here they give personal advice on subjects and study foreign languages ​​​​at the highest level (FCE). After 3 months, high school students not only show excellent results, but begin to participate in competitions and olympiads.
